Located in the heart of downtown Nashville, Tennessee, the Bridgestone Arena is one of the city’s larger indoor multi-purpose facilities. The Bridgestone Arena originally opened in 1996 as the Nashville Arena and later became the home of the Grand Ole Opry under the name Gaylord Entertainment Center. The venue did not attain its present name until 2010. Regardless of its name, the Bridgestone Arena Nashville is without a doubt still one of the area’s leading venues in sports and entertainment.

The Bridgestone Arena has become a prime venue for various nationally distinguished sports events. The NHL Entry Draft, the U.S. Gymnastics championships and the U.S. Figure Skating Association’s national championships are just a few of the major events that have been featured on the Sommet Center schedule. The Bridgestone Arena schedule also annually hosts a number of games from its NHL tenant, the Nashville Predators. From both the local and national level, the Bridgestone Arena Nashville has made quite a reputation for itself amongst the sports industry.
